Coag-Sense® PT2 PT/INR Monitoring System

The most Accurate, Precise, and Cost-Effective point-of-care PT/ INR system

A Proven Detection Platform

Direct Detection

By mechanically detecting the clot, the Coag-Sense® system avoids the challenges that plague other systems that use secondary means of clot detection like monitoring changes in impedance.

Small Form Factor

Our portable meter can be stored in a drawer. This flexibility means patients can take the meter with them when they travel.

Digital Connectivity

Wireless (Wi-Fi and Bluetooth) and wired (USB and Ethernet) connectivity options send results to EHR systems, testing service providers, printers or POCT data management systems such as TELCOR or RALS.

Learn how the Coag-Sense® PT/INR Monitoring System provides accurate prothrombin results by reporting the actual clot time

No algorithms or look-up tables required. For precision in anticoagulation medicine management, this meter provides the right result at the right time.

What Makes Us Different?

Discover the only PT/INR meter that measures a true prothrombin time, the PT time reposted is the actual clot time. For superior accuracy in a less expensive and easy-to-use format, choose the Coag-Sense® PT2 PT/INR Monitoring System.

Direct Clot Technology

Our direct clot technology measures actual clotting time

Accuracy

Increased accuracy and precision equivalent to lab analysis
Reduced potential for errors or wasted strips resulting from short sampling

Cleaner Sample Collection

Decreased potential for cross-contamination using sample transfer tubes

Cost

Less than $1 per test

Sterile Test Strips

Test strips are individually packaged ensuring freshness every time

Simpler To Use

No code chip requirement

Advantages of Direct Clot Technology

Our patented direct clot technology emulates the Gold Standard WHO tilt tube method. This method determines the actual prothrombin (PT) time without using look-up tables or curve-fitting algorithms.

  1. Sample is applied to the well
  2. The wheel mixes the sample with the reagent
  3. A clot forms on the wheel
  4. The clot interrupts a simple light beam
  5. The results reported is a true PT time

How to Use Coag-Sense® PT/ INR Meter

Step 1

Insert a test strip

Step 2

Lance finger and collect a bead of blood with included transfer tube

Step 3

Dispense sample onto test strip

Step 4

Wait for results (testing time is the patient’s actual clotting time)
